Report and block

Use the Safety control on a member profile to submit a report or block that member. Blocking removes the friendship and closes direct-message access in both directions.

Immediate danger

ChatKC is not an emergency service. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. In the United States, call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.

Preserving evidence

Reports preserve a checksum-protected evidence record for trained moderators. Do not redistribute harmful content merely to document it.

Account security

Use a unique password, verify your email, sign out on shared devices, and never send passwords or verification links to another person. ChatKC staff will not ask for your password.
